CURRENT WORK
MORELAND MIDDLE SCHOOL — 6-8th Grade Theater Arts Teacher, August 2017 - Present
- Daily teach six theater electives to groups ranging from 25-30 students in 6-8th grade
- Create relevant units to reinforce the fundamentals of performing arts, including but not limited to improvisation, performing comedy and drama, sketch writing, and Shakespeare
- Write content and organize after school extracurricular theater productions
- Serve on a PBIS committee with other teachers to promote a positive atmosphere in the school
COMEDYSPORTZ SAN JOSE — Improviser, June 2014 - Present
- Perform short form and long form improv shows on Friday and Saturday nights
- Attend weekly team practices to continue to hone skills as an improviser

- Working on postproduction for a short film, Mary Shreds, with the intention of submitting to film festivals
- Writing and editing a feature film, Muertos
- Self-Publishing a children's book about autoimmune illness titled Emmie
PAST WORK
UPRIGHT CITIZEN'S BRIGADE — Work Study Student, November 2016 - May 2017
- Worked weekly shifts at the ticket booth UCB's Sunset Theater on Monday nights
- Volunteered for additional shifts to assist with theater auditions
- Cleaned and maintained the theater
- Took UCB's improv and sketch comedy classes
TWIN LAKES CHRISTIAN SCHOOL — 4th Grade Teacher and aide, August 2012 - June 2016
- Taught all subjects in a closed classroom to an average of 20 students
- Developed strategies and accommodations as needed in the classroom (no on-site intervention specialists)
- Coordinated student field trips to Mission San Juan Bautista, Pinnacles National Park, and Sacramento
- Provided after school guitar instruction for five students

- Developed menus for summer camp and year-round programs
- Operated a large budget, responsibly purchased food and equipment
- Managed a staff of 3-6 people and many student volunteers
- Cooked meals for groups ranging from 5-200 people
